Health Coaching and Education from Pre through Post Menopause

Hello Menopause!

What is menopausal health coaching?

Health coaching is a personalized approach to supporting each individual through their unique perimenopause and menopause journey. Since no two experiences are the same, coaching tailors recommendations to fit your specific needs, goals, and concerns. My focus is on the whole person, addressing key lifestyle areas such as sleep, exercise, nutrition, stress management, and self-care. With menopause-specific insights, I ensure the guidance is deeply relevant to this transformative phase of life.

Coaching goes beyond just providing advice—it equips you with evidence-based information so you can make informed decisions, advocate confidently for your health, and build a stronger support system. By considering your values, strengths, and daily realities, coaching helps you create sustainable changes that promote well-being. The ultimate goal is to empower you to navigate this stage with greater ease, resilience, and a renewed sense of self.

What is the menopause transition?

The menopause transition is a natural stage in a woman's life marked by a gradual decline in estrogen levels. It unfolds over three phases:

Phase 1 – Perimenopause
This phase begins when hormone levels start to shift, often leading to changes in menstrual patterns and the appearance of symptoms like sleep disturbances, mood changes, or hot flashes. Perimenopause can last for several years. In its later stage, the body experiences a more rapid decline in bone density, making it even more important to incorporate menopause specific nutrition and exercise.

Phase 2 – Menopause
This phase begins with your final menstrual period and continues for one year. The ovaries have stopped releasing eggs and hormone levels drop more significantly.

Phase 3 – Postmenopause
Once you’ve gone a full year without a period, you’re considered postmenopausal. Symptoms may continue for some, while others notice them ease. This phase continues for the rest of life.

No matter where you are in this transition, it’s never too late to support your health and invest in vibrant longevity. Contact me for more information on how we can work together!
